Baby's Tears - Mind Your Own Business - 9cm Pots
Baby’s Tears – Mind Your Own Business – Soleirolia Soleirolii (Helxine)
Baby's Tears has tiny round leaves cascading down slender stems.
A fast-growing evergreen spreading plant that looks magnificent when allowed to spill over the sides of pots, hanging baskets and containers.
First and foremost grown as a popular house plant in the UK, others use it as an outdoor groundcover plant.
Baby’s Tears may not be winter hardy in the coldest climates, and foliage lost to frosts, but some gardeners report that it re-emerges in their gardens after the winter.
Avoid all day direct sunlight, in or outside. Do not allow to totally dry out.
When repotted and fully established as an houseplant, water by imersion in a container of tepid water. Allow to soak for a while.
Supplied in full 9cm pots (assorted colours.)
Baby's tears is also to referred to under other common names: angel's tears, mind-your-own-business, peace in the home, bread and cheese, mother of thousands, corsican creeper, the friendship plant, bits and pieces, pollyanna vine and Paddy's wig.
